Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 533348) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 5 years relevant work experience OR a recognised Higher Diploma/Associate Degree with at least 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. They should possess good organizational and interpersonal skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. They should be self-motivated and attentive to detail.
The appointee will be expected to handle student records-related matters, including the issuance of student cards, updating of student personal data, and maintenance of academic records. He/She will also handle inquiries, assist in the annual student card collection exercise, and perform other duties as assigned. The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
