An established and forward-looking property enterprise with a strong presence across Greater China is seeking a seasoned legal professional to take ownership of its Hong Kong legal function. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all legal affairs related to Hong Kong operations.
- Provide expert legal advice on first-hand property sales and relevant ordinances.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and property-related contracts and documentation.
- Advise senior management on legal risks, regulatory changes, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate across business units to deliver proactive legal support.
- Manage relationships with external counsel and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and safeguard corporate interests.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Hong Kong qualified solicitor with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with in-house exposure in the property sector. (Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Legal Counsel position)
- Strong expertise in first-hand sales transactions and related legal frameworks.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with excellent communication skills across all three languages.
- Commercially astute, independent, and confident in advising senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced with a hands-on approach.
