ETL Tester + API Automation Tester

We are looking for an experienced ETL & API Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in ETL/Data Testing, API Testing, and API Automation Frameworks.

Location: PAN INDIA

Notice Period: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ETL testing, data validation, and data reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, including business rules and data mapping.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.
• Perform API testing for REST APIs, including request/response validation, status codes, headers, payloads, and error handling.
• Develop, maintain, and execute API automation scripts using Java-based frameworks or BDD Cucumber.
• Design reusable automation components, test scenarios, assertions, and framework utilities.
• Work with Bruno for API testing and validation, wherever applicable.
• Identify, log, track, and troubleshoot defects across ETL pipelines and APIs.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Support test execution, regression testing, defect retesting, and release validation.

Mandatory Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience in ETL Testing and API Testing.
2. Good SQL skills for backend data validation and reconciliation.
3. Hands-on API automation experience.
4. Experience with Java-based API automation framework OR BDD Cucumber.
5. Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and response validation.
6. Ability to join immediately and support immediate billing requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Bruno API client/tool.
• Experience in data warehouse, data migration, or data pipeline testing.
• API automation framework development/enhancement experience.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with API authentication, token handling, and negative testing.
