Job Title: ERP Financials Functional Consultant

Experience: 8–12 years in ERP Financials consulting or implementation

Role Summary

Oracle is looking for an experienced ERP Financials Functional Consultant to support finance transformation and Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementation initiatives. This role is well suited for a senior finance ERP consultant with hands-on experience in any major ERP financials platform, such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Financials, or similar systems.

You do not need to have prior Oracle Fusion experience to be considered. What matters most is strong financial process knowledge, ERP implementation experience, and the ability to work with business stakeholders to design, configure, test, and deliver effective finance solutions.

In this role, you will help organizations modernize core finance operations across areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, financial reporting, controls, and period close. You will work with Oracle teams, business users, and technical specialists to translate finance requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support requirement-gathering workshops with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze current finance processes and support the design of future-state ERP financial solutions.
  • Configure, validate, and support Oracle Cloud Financials modules based on business requirements and implementation best practices.
  • Apply prior ERP financials experience from platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar systems to Oracle Cloud ERP delivery.
  • Support implementation, rollout, enhancement, and post-go-live activities across finance modules such as:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Cash Management
  • Fixed Assets
  • Expenses
  • Financial reporting
  • Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, training materials, and solution documentation.
  • Support data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
  • Partner with technical teams on integrations, reports, conversions, extensions, workflows, and issue resolution.
  • Support System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, defect management, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Deliver end-user training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support.
  • Advise stakeholders on finance process improvements, controls, reporting, automation, and Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of ERP consulting, implementation, or functional finance systems experience.
  • Hands-on experience with any ERP Financials module, including but not limited to SAP Financials, NetSuite Financials, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics Finance, Workday Financials, or similar ERP platforms.
  • Proven experience in ERP implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, support, or major enhancement projects.
  • Strong functional knowledge of one or more core finance areas, such as:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Cash Management
  • Fixed Assets
  • Expenses
  • Financial reporting
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and finance business processes, including period close, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, reconciliations, controls, and reporting.
  • Experience preparing functional specifications, business process documentation, test scripts, and configuration-related documentation.
  • Experience working with technical teams on integrations, reports, data migration, and issue resolution.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across business, functional, and technical teams.
  • Open to learning Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and applying existing ERP finance expertise in an Oracle environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, or NetSuite Financials.
  • Oracle Cloud Financials certification or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Experience with Oracle tools such as FBDI, ADFDI, Spreadsheet Loader, Oracle Integration Cloud, OTBI, BI Publisher, or Smart View.
  • Experience integrating ERP Financials with EPM, SCM, Procurement, HCM, banking platforms, tax systems, or third-party applications.
  • Exposure to localization, tax, intercompany accounting, subledger accounting, approval workflows, security roles, or enterprise structures.
  • Experience in global, regional, or multi-country ERP implementations.
  • Experience across any industry, including manufacturing, retail, technology, financial services, healthcare, public sector, logistics, or professional services.

Why Join Oracle

  • Bring your ERP finance expertise into one of the world's leading cloud ERP ecosystems.
  • Transition or expand from SAP, NetSuite, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or other ERP platforms into Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Work on finance transformation programs that modernize accounting operations, reporting, controls, automation, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with experienced Oracle consultants, solution architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Build long-term career growth opportunities in Oracle Cloud ERP, finance transformation, solution architecture, project leadership, and enterprise consulting.
