Equipment Field Service Engineer (Taiwan Subsidiary / Local Hire)
Rank/Position: Engineer (Equivalent to Taiwan local hiring rank)
Department/Reporting Line: Directly reports to the Head of Taiwan Subsidiary or the HQ Technology Division in Korea (Dual reporting available)
Reason for Hiring: Expansion of local field service personnel in Taiwan due to business growth
Employment Type: Local Hire (Taiwan)

Local Equipment Field Service (After-Sales Service)
Provide comprehensive after-sales service (installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting) for equipment sold by Tech in Taiwan.
Provide on-site operational support for
Optical Transceiver Active Alignment Systems.
Deliver technical support for the 400G, 800G, and 1.6T product lineups.
Prepare and provide technical support for the
CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) Alignment System (with mass production scaling up after 2027).
- Customer Technical Support
Provide technical support to global optical communication and semiconductor clients located in Taiwan.
Collaborate and communicate technically with client engineers.
Conduct equipment operation training and provide manual guidance.
- Collaboration with Korea Headquarters
Regularly report to and share issues with the Technology Division at the Korea HQ.
Provide equipment improvement feedback and collaborate with the R&D team.
Qualifications
Requirements (Must-haves):
Industry Experience: Proven experience in field service or operation of precision equipment, such as optical communication, semiconductor, or display equipment.
Equipment Experience: Hands-on experience in operating
optical transceiver equipment.
Language: Native or fluent in
Traditional Chinese.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in
English (for communication with global clients and HQ).

Salary: Competitive with local Taiwan industry standards (Incentives and performance bonuses are separate).
Employment Type: Taiwan Local Hire (Local employment contract, not an expatriate dispatch from Korea HQ).
Work Location: Taoyuan, Taiwan ()
Travel: Frequent business travel to customer sites within Taiwan is expected; occasional business trips to Korea HQ may be required.
