Job Description
The Robotic/Mechatronics Data Center Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting AGV (Autonomous Guided Vehicle) equipment and other systems in the robotics portfolio at a sizable CBRE-managed data center campus in Changhua, Taichung, Taiwan. This position is part of a multi-disciplinary team of deployment, maintenance/troubleshooting and engineering. The individual will collect and provide field data and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues.

Knowledge of Operating System (OS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) a plus.
Ability to perform repetitive field tasks for long durations such as bending, kneeling, squatting, walking, climbing stairs, etc.
Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical schematics, manuals, and written instructions to assist in troubleshooting automation equipment issues.
Job Duties:
Comply with quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct Operational Readiness Site Walks to verify that the operational environment is clear of obvious intrusions and obstructions and that the NavSystem is in good working order.
Conduct daily system readiness checklists to ensure a robotics or automation system is available (exp. charged) and safe to operate with all enabler technology in place.
Function as the first responder to triage robotics and automation maintenance issues, following well-defined and structured troubleshooting procedures and SLOs.
Perform Preventative and Predictive maintenance and calibrations of existing equipment of the systems per well-defined schedules and procedures.
Provide mechanical and control system onsite technical support and troubleshooting for existing automated equipment and assist with setup of new equipment.
Communicate with machine operators and engineering to troubleshoot issues.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts, corrective action formulation, and root-cause investigation when necessary.
Document machine history and operational observations
Train operators and other individuals about operating equipment
Assist with performing system validations and engineering trials.
Utilize the client ticketing system to efficiently document and resolve issues.
Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, bending over to install navigation tape, lifting and transporting by tool boxes, tools and other material.

Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical Training Degree
Familiarity with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems and their integration with PLCs.
Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience
Background in Maintenance or Industrial Technology / Engineering, or related field such as semi-conductor / wafer fabrication
3+ years of practical experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in a Production setting.
Strong troubleshooting/maintenance skills.
Team management skills preferred but not a must
