As EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Monitor factory operations to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company standards. Also track EHS performance indicators and implement action plans to improve results.
- Supervise employees and contractors through site patrols, inspections, and job-site monitoring activities. Also ensure proper communication of hazards and safe working practices.
- Conduct safety and health risk assessments, including ergonomic and chemical risk evaluations, and propose improvement actions. Ensure workplace risks are properly identified and controlled.
- Manage the EHS budget, including planning, monitoring, reporting, and controlling department spending. Ensure resources are used effectively to support safety and prevention programs.
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs to improve employee safety awareness. Also lead ISO 45001 activities, internal audits, external audit support, and change management processes.
- Implement EHS programs and investigate safety incidents, including preparing investigation reports. Also track compliance status and promote safe behavior and continuous improvement across the workplace.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required.
- More than 5 years of experience in an industrial environment in a similar EHS or safety-related role.
- Must hold an A-level Occupational Safety or Health Management license (or equivalent certification).
- Preferred qualifications include ISO 45001 internal auditor certification; additional certifications such as A-level waste treatment personnel license are a plus.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
