Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Design and develop backend systems with a focus on performance, stability, and security.
• Take ownership of the full development cycle, including requirement analysis, system design, coding, and maintenance.
• Ensure software quality through scalable and maintainable code practices.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor engineers, supporting their growth and fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Align the teams output with company objectives while promoting efficiency and quality.

Hands-on Development

• Contribute to core feature development and provide technical direction on complex issues.
• Oversee code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment.

System Optimization

• Drive system performance enhancements, including database tuning, caching, and other optimization measures.

Knowledge Sharing

• Share expertise with the team, encourage adoption of new tools and technologies, and build a continuous learning environment.

Business Alignment

• Take part in product and business discussions, offering technical perspectives to ensure successful execution.

Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience; team leadership experience is a plus.
• Background in finance, payments, billing, or e-commerce systems is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in at least one backend framework (e.g., .Net, Java/Spring) with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with system design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of microservices, SOA, or enterprise integration patterns is a plus.
