We are seeking an
Engineering Lead, Asia Pacific to drive engineering excellence and portfolio transformation for one of the world's top 5 global industrial companies. You'll be a core member of the global engineering leadership team, partnering directly with the Global Engineering Director and colleagues across Americas, EMEA, and APAC to shape enterprise-wide strategy while ensuring successful delivery across Asia Pacific's diverse asset base—including pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and critical operations facilities.
What This Job Involves
Reporting to the Account Director and with direct collaboration with the Global Engineering Director, you will ensure successful engineering delivery in ASPAC, overseeing talent management and development initiatives for key engineering talent in the region. You will:
Global Strategy & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Global Engineering Lead to develop a rolling Engineering Operations and Maintenance strategy for the region that includes transformation to tech-enabled dynamic maintenance.
- Develop a strategic roadmap for upgrading engineering talent to support next-generation engineering services.
- Shape global engineering standards and enterprise-wide strategy.
Complex Asset Management
- Lead engineering operations across critical operations centers
- Define and deploy service delivery standards for engineering products in ASPAC incorporating operational feedback into product development.
- Ensure regulatory compliance
Operational Excellence
- Drive Engineering Risk Management and Statutory Compliance for ASPAC in collaboration with QC and HSSE.
- Be responsible for direct management of all resources involved in delivery of Engineering Services.
- Deploy and enforce standard operating procedures for Engineering Services.
- Support accounts in achieving productivity targets in collaboration with account leadership teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Senior Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with client C-suite, functional leaders, and JLL global leadership.
- Lead executive business reviews, strategic planning sessions, crisis management.
- Act as an escalation point for critical incidents; lead root cause analysis and remediation.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Leverage JLL Engineering Operations, Product, and Global Operations expertise to drive best-in-class approaches.
- Drive adoption of next-generation technologies.
- Be an active member of Regional and Global JLL Engineering community.

Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or equivalent.
- Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
- Professional Engineer license or certifications (PMP, LEED AP, CFPS, CEM, CMRP, Six Sigma Black Belt) advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 12-15 years engineering operations leadership in facilities management or industrial engineering with progressively senior roles.
- Hands-on experience managing pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or critical operations facilities with stringent regulatory and uptime requirements.
- Proven track record developing and executing large-scale engineering strategies across complex, multi-site portfolios.
- Experience managing engineering operations across multiple countries or large geographic region, preferably in ASPAC.
- Demonstrated success in matrixed global organizations with cross-regional coordination and virtual team leadership.
- Experience building and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience leading operational transformations and change management.
- Commercial acumen and risk management in high-consequence environments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
