Your Job

The Thermal Design Engineer supports the design, simulation, and validation of thermal solutions for CSBU products, including AEC transceivers, cages, and liquid cooling solutions. This role focuses on execution, data analysis, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet product thermal requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Perform thermal simulation and analysis to support product thermal design.
  • Conduct thermal validation and simulation‑to‑measurement correlation studies.
  • Develop thermal validation plans and execute testing using chambers, data loggers, thermocouples, and wind tunnels.
  • Analyze and interpret thermal data and communicate results to project teams.
  • Document thermal validation, troubleshooting activities, and test results in clear technical reports.
  • Support development and improvement of thermal solutions for air‑cooled and liquid‑cooled products.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development cycle.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 3+ years of experience in thermal design, simulation, or validation.
  • Familiarity with electronics cooling solutions and thermal validation practices.
  • Proficiency with thermal simulation tools such as FloTHERM or FloEFD.
  • Experience using 3D CAD tools such as NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
  • Functional English communication skills for technical discussions and meetings.

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience with servers, switches, or thermal module suppliers.
  • Exposure to liquid cooling products or cold plate solutions.
  • Experience with thermal validation fixtures or data correlation from simulation to measurement.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability in project execution.
