Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Drive frontend yield analysis at wafer, lot, and processstep levels to identify systematic yield detractors and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform crosssite yield benchmarking across multiple fabs to identify performance gaps, bestinclass behaviors, and transferable bestknown methods (BKMs).
  • Lead and support yieldfocused business process optimization and transformation, including standardization of yield analysis methodologies, metrics, dashboards, and operating models across sites.
  • Partner with Fab, Central YE, TD, and Product Engineering teams to align yield strategies, priorities, and execution frameworks across the network.
  • Conduct datadriven root cause analysis using manufacturing, SPC, and test datasets to accelerate learning cycles and enable sustainable yield improvement.
  • Act as a bridge between site execution and central alignment, ensuring local yield learnings are captured, standardized, and scaled across the Micron network.
  • Support new technology introduction and yield ramp by defining frontend yield readiness criteria, monitoring mechanisms, and escalation models.
  • Drive continuous improvement of yieldrelated business processes, including issue tracking, escalation, closure, and learning loop effectiveness.
  • Communicate yield insights, benchmark results, and process improvement proposals clearly and effectively to technical and management audiences.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with crossfunctional partners and site stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Travel to Micron fab sites as needed to support yield analysis, benchmarking, and business process alignment.

Requirements

  • Strong background in frontend semiconductor manufacturing and yield engineering, including wafer fabrication processes, SPC, parametric data, and yield analysis techniques.
  • Proven experience in yield data analysis, statistical methods, and systematic problem solving.
  • Experience with crosssite or networklevel benchmarking and translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Demonstrated capability in business process optimization, standardization, or transformation, particularly in engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with DRAM device operation and frontend integration is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and criticalthinking skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, crossfunctional organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with data analytics tools or scripting languages is a plus.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and comfortable driving change and alignment across teams.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related engineering discipline.
