Engineer, Core Network Engineering

Your Role

• Assist planning, design, deployment and operation of core network / IP core & backbone network / value-added service platforms / Network functions Virtualization infrastructure (NFVI) supporting wireless service
• Perform verification tests for new solutions / service enhancements and system upgrade / update
• Perform routine monitoring on the system / service performance and investigate on network / service issues and customers complaints
• Collaborate with different stakeholders within or outside organization (e.g. vendors, business users, customer-facing support, roaming partners) to resolve efficiently issues on planning and operation.

To Succeed in the Role

• Higher Diploma / Degree holder in Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 2 years relevant experience in either PS/EPS/5GS networking, IP networking, voice services/value-added services, NFVI, roaming or other telecommunication projects
• Possesses adequate knowledge in one or more working domains used in wireless core network. Skills and experience in use of automation tool to faciliatate planning / design and operation / maintenance work is highly appreciated.
• Self motivated and good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
