[Expression of Interest] Energy Manager / Sustainability Engineer

Our clients operate industrial/manufacturing facilities in Singapore seeking experienced Energy Managers / Sustainability Engineers to drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor energy management systems (e.g., ISO 50001) across plant/facility operations
- Conduct energy audits, identify energy-saving opportunities, and lead energy efficiency improvement projects
- Track and report on energy consumption, carbon emissions, and sustainability KPIs to management
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., NEA Energy Conservation Act, carbon tax reporting, EMA/BCA guidelines)
- Support ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures, including GHG inventory and emissions reduction roadmaps
- Identify and evaluate renewable energy, electrification, or decarbonization opportunities for the facility
- Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and certification bodies on energy and sustainability matters
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and facilities teams to implement energy-saving initiatives
- Manage energy-related capital projects, including feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis
- Provide training and awareness programs on energy conservation and sustainability practices
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Minimum 3-8 years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or facilities engineering (experience level flexible depending on specific client mandate)
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification preferred
- Familiar with Singapore's energy and environmental regulatory landscape (NEA, EMA, BCA Green Mark, carbon tax framework)
- Experience with ISO 50001 or similar energy management systems an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable energy/sustainability strategies
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work with both technical teams and senior management
- Project management experience for energy/sustainability capital initiatives

- Salary: SGD 5,500 - 9,000/month, commensurate with experience and certification
