Costing & Sourcing Executive (EMS Manufacturing)
- Working Hour: Monday - Friday (8.50am to 5.30pm)
- Working Location: Tai Seng
- Salary: $3,500 - $4,200
Job Summary
Responsible for product costing and sourcing activities to support quotation preparation, cost optimization, supplier management, and business profitability within an EMS/manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Request and compare quotations (RFQs) to identify the best pricing and commercial terms.
- Prepare detailed cost analyses and product cost breakdowns to support pricing decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
- Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain supplier relationships and supplier performance records to ensure reliable supply.
- Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning activities according to production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company sourcing and purchasing policies.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales teams to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within an EMS/manufacturing environment
- Experience sourcing electronic components, PCB assemblies, mechanical parts, and manufacturing services
- Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and product cost analysis
- Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (SAP)
- Good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and supply chain management
