Job Description

Company Description Coherence Bio develops integrated benchtop systems that unify culture, interventions, and imaging for multi-day cell and organoid experiments. By eliminating fragmented workflows and multiple handoffs, the company reduces experimental drift and helps teams clearly interpret biological outcomes. Its Keystone platform keeps all experimental steps on a single, continuous timeline in one environment with one consolidated record. This approach supports more reliable data, streamlined collaboration, and greater confidence in experimental results. Coherence Bio focuses on turning the entire experimental run into a cohesive, high-quality product for life science teams.

Role Description The Electro Mechanical Engineer role at Coherence Bio is a full-time, on-site position based in NanGang District. This role involves designing, developing, and integrating electro-mechanical components and subsystems for the Keystone benchtop platform and related products. Day-to-day tasks include performing electrical and mechanical design, selecting components, creating schematics and mechanical drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and reliability. The engineer will support prototyping and testing, diagnose and resolve hardware issues, and contribute to continuous improvements in manufacturability, safety, and usability. The role also includes documenting designs, test procedures, and results, and working closely with manufacturing and laboratory teams to bring new hardware from concept to production.
