Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our growing design team in Taipei. The ideal candidate brings technical leadership in electrical building systems and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional project environment. This is a key role with design and mentorship responsibilities across complex MEP projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems.
- Develop and review accurate construction design documents and narratives aligned with NEC, NFPA, IBC, IECC, and other standards.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical/plumbing designers, and construction teams to meet project requirements.
- Translate design concepts into clear documentation using Revit, AutoCAD, COMcheck, and other tools.
- Interface with vendors and manufacturers to integrate new technologies and systems.
- Support construction administration and project handover processes.
Qualifications:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Arizona preferred or transferrable to Taiwan).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Architectural, or Building Systems Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience in commercial, institutional, or mission-critical projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant design and documentation software.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and international electrical codes and standards.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Strong team leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Taipei.
