About the Team
Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop hardware systems for server products, including motherboard-level design
- Execute system hardware design, bring-up, functional verification, and validation activities
- Develop test fixtures and support debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Create and maintain system and motherboard documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., firmware, manufacturing, quality) to resolve hardware/software issues
- Support product lifecycle stages including NPI, pilot run, demo, and mass production
- Participate in design reviews, propose technical solutions, and align with customer requirements (e.g., Microsoft)
- Work with global teams to ensure design readiness and manufacturing success
Skills & Experience
Must-have
- 3-10 years of hardware design experience
- Hands-on experience in motherboard or system-level hardware design
- Good understanding of server system architecture
- Experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation
- Ability to work across product development stages (design ↠production)
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
Good-to-have
- Experience in server platform development (preferred)
- Experience with rack-level server systems (L10/L11)
- Background in NPI programs
- Exposure to hyperscale/datacenter customers
- Experience collaborating with global teams
