Electrical Designer / Engineer to join their design team in
Taipei, Taiwan. This role will support electrical building systems design for commercial, healthcare, institutional, semiconductor, and mission-critical projects.
This position is ideal for an electrical design professional who has experience with Revit, AutoCAD, power distribution, lighting, and construction documentation, and is looking to grow within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and documentation of electrical power, lighting, and distribution systems for building projects.
- Develop construction drawings, layouts, details, and electrical plans using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, circuiting, and panel schedule support.
- Support lighting layouts, power distribution design, emergency systems, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage system coordination.
- Research and apply applicable electrical codes, design standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and project teams throughout design and construction phases.
- Assist with project specifications, submittal reviews, RFI responses, and construction administration support.
- Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coordination with other disciplines.
- Maintain organized design files, drawing revisions, and project documentation.
- Participate in internal coordination meetings, design reviews, and project discussions.
- Support senior engineers and project managers with design tasks and technical follow-up.
- Stay current with electrical design tools, building systems best practices, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field required.
- 1–5 years of experience in electrical building systems design preferred; entry-level candidates with strong internship or academic project experience may be considered.
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD required.
- Basic understanding of electrical power distribution, lighting layouts, circuiting, panel schedules, and emergency systems.
- Familiarity with commercial, healthcare, institutional, semiconductor, mission-critical, or industrial building projects preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, building codes, and design standards preferred.
- Additional software knowledge such as COMcheck, Excel, OneNote, or other engineering/design tools is a plus.
- EIT certification, PE track, or interest in professional licensure is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based MEP consulting environment.
- Willingness to learn from senior engineers and grow within electrical building systems design.
