Electrical Commissioning Engineer (autonomous mobile robotics) - – Mandarin Speaking

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for offline programming, on-site commissioning, debugging, and technical support for automation projects.
2. Develop and modify PLC and robot programs according to project requirements and customer specifications.
3. Perform on-site PLC and robot debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and fine-tuning to ensure equipment operates properly and meets project requirements.
4. Work closely with customers to discuss, define, and establish electrical technical standards and control requirements for automation projects.
5. Analyze technical issues during the installation, commissioning, and operation stages, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical requirements, programming, equipment commissioning, and project progress.
7. Monitor and control the progress of electrical and automation commissioning to ensure projects are completed according to the agreed schedule.
8. Prepare and maintain electrical and automation-related technical documentation, including program records, specifications, and commissioning documents.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Conduct training for customer personnel on PLC, robot operation, system functions, and basic troubleshooting.
11. Collaborate with Project Managers, Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth project implementation.
12. Support continuous improvement and optimization of automation systems to improve machine performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, machine commissioning, or a related field.
3. Proficient in PLC programming, particularly Mitsubishi and/or Siemens PLC systems.
4. Experience in robot programming and commissioning is highly preferred.
5. Familiarity with SICAR or other industrial robot programming standards will be an advantage.
6. Experience with offline programming and on-site commissioning/debugging of automation equipment.
7. Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze electrical and automation issues systematically.
8. Good understanding of industrial automation systems, PLC control, robot systems, and machine integration.
9. Good command of Chinese and English, especially for technical discussions, meetings, and communication with customers and suppliers.
10. Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
11. Able to work independently, manage multiple project activities, and support on-site work and business travel when required.
12. Team-oriented, proactive, responsible, and willing to take ownership of assigned projects.
13. Able tospeak in Mandarin as need to liaise with China Customer in Thailand and Internal Kuka China Team.
