Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • EAM Business Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the development and execution of the EAM strategy, aligned with the Private Bank's overall growth ambitions.
  • Build and scale the EAM platform, including coverage model, client segmentation, and service framework.
  • Identify expansion opportunities across key markets and EAM segments.
  • Drive overall AUM, NNM, and revenue growth for the EAM channel.
  • Team Leadership & People Management
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of EAM bankers / relationship managers.
  • Set clear performance objectives and KPIs for the team and drive accountability.
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance productivity, client coverage, and professionalism.
  • Support hiring and onboarding of EAM talent, including team lift-outs where appropriate.
  • Foster a strong culture of collaboration, performance, and risk awareness.
  • Client & EAM Relationship Strategy
  • Oversee and deepen relationships with key EAM firms, principals, and senior advisors.
  • Ensure effective coverage of top-tier EAMs through the team.
  • Personally manage and sponsor strategic / high-value EAM relationships where required.
  • Drive client engagement initiatives to strengthen partnerships and wallet share.
  • Platform Development & Value Proposition
  • Work with internal stakeholders to enhance the EAM platform offering, including:
    • Investment product suite
    • Credit and financing solutions
    • Operational and onboarding processes
  • Improve the overall client experience and service delivery model for EAMs.
  • Monitor market and competitor developments to ensure competitiveness of the platform.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Partner closely with Product, Investment Advisory, Credit, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Engage senior management on business performance, strategic initiatives, and growth priorities.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on cross-border EAM opportunities.
  • Risk & Governance
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk frameworks.
  • Embed strong risk culture, AML/CFT discipline, and client suitability standards across the EAM business.
  • Act as escalation point for complex client or platform-related risk matters.
Experience

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in private banking / wealth management.
  • Proven track record in EAM coverage or similar intermediary/introducer model.
  • Strong network of EAMs and external asset managers in the region.
  • Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of wealth management products, including investments, structured products, and credit solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to drive AUM and revenue growth.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale a business vertical.
  • High level of integrity and strong risk awareness.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage senior stakeholders.
