The E-commerce Supervisor is responsible for supporting the customer service and sales teams with various e-commerce tasks, including order processing, customer inquiries, and promotional activities, contributing to a positive customer experience and driving sales growth, working under direct supervision. The role ensures product information on the e-commerce platform is accurate, up-to-date and maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and stock adjustments. The role provides feedback on customer preferences and concerns to management to improve product offerings. The role assists customers with product selection and order placement for a smooth purchasing experience.
Job Responsibility
- Supports the customer service and sales teams with various e-commerce tasks, including order processing, customer inquiries, and promotional activities, contributing to a positive customer experience and helping drive sales growth.
- Ensures the e-commerce platform's product information is accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive by regularly reviewing and updating product descriptions, specifications, prices, and availability.
- Adheres to established e-commerce policies and procedures, ensuring accurate product information, competitive pricing, and efficient order processing, working under direct supervision.
- Ensures accurate inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts, verifying stock quantities, and making necessary adjustments to align with records, preventing discrepancies and optimizing inventory management for smooth operations.
- Provides prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries related to products, orders, shipping, and returns, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by addressing their needs efficiently and professionally.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement in e-commerce processes and analyzes website traffic data to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities that increase customer satisfaction and average order value.
- Assists customers with product selection and order placement, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience by providing knowledgeable recommendations, guiding them through the ordering process and facilitating efficient order processing for timely delivery.
- Provides comprehensive feedback to management on customer preferences and concerns by analyzing customer interactions, surveys, and sales data, ensuring that insights are effectively communicated to enhance product offerings and improve overall customer satisfaction and experience.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma/Vocational education OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce or equivalent.
Work Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in supporting Sales/E-Commerce teams or equivalent with High School Diploma/Vocational education OR no prior experience required with Bachelor's
