Responsibilities

About You

We are seeking a data-driven and user-centric Product Manager to join our E-Commerce Search team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the shopping experience by ensuring users can find exactly what they need—and discover what they love—through our search engine.

You will focus on the tactical execution of search relevance improvements, query understanding, and the integration of business events into the search journey. This role is perfect for a PM who enjoys diving into user data, running A/B tests, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive incremental growth in conversion and engagement.

Your Day

  • Feature Delivery: Transform business requirements and user pain points into clear, actionable product specifications (PRDs) for Search features.
  • Search Relevance & Quality: Monitor and improve core search metrics (e.g., Null Search Rate, CTR, CVR). Work with engineers to optimize keyword matching and basic ranking logic.
  • Campaign Integration: Design and implement search-based modules to support marketing events, ensuring seasonal promotions are effectively discovered by users.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Conduct regular A/B tests to validate new search features or UI changes. Use data to identify friction points in the search-to-checkout funnel.
  • Ecosystem Collaboration: Assist in co-working with external partners for Off-site Exposure, ensuring consistent search experiences across different traffic sources.
  • User Feedback Loop: Analyze user search queries and behaviors to identify emerging trends and intent patterns, translating these insights into product tweaks.

Qualifications

  • Experience: overall 8 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within E-commerce, Marketplace, or any search-driven platform.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with data. Proficiency in SQL is a plus. You should be comfortable using tools like Google Analytics to track user journeys.
  • Execution Excellence: Proven track record of taking a product from concept to launch, with strong attention to detail in UI/UX and logic flows.
  • Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical constraints, communicating effectively with both marketers and developers.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.
