Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and execution of Supermicro's Cloud and AI Software Solutions strategy.
  2. Architect and optimize cloud-native AI infrastructure for LLM training, inference, and AI application hosting.
  3. Provide technical leadership for Systems Management, Orchestration and AI Cloud customers in multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-prem AI solutions.
  4. Engage with ecosystem partners (e.g., NVIDIA, VMware, OpenAI, Hugging Face) to enhance software integration.
  5. Develop and implement AI workload orchestration, automation, and cloud-native model serving strategies.
  6. Define and optimize performance, networking, and storage solutions for AI workloads.
  7. Represent Supermicro at customer briefings, conferences, and industry events to position our AI Cloud offerings.

Qualifications:

  1. 17+ years of experience in cloud computing, AI software solutions, and enterprise IT architecture.
  2. Proven leadership in cloud software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical services.
  3. Expertise in Generative AI (LLMs, AI model deployment), Kubernetes, container orchestration, and hybrid cloud solutions.
  4. Deep knowledge of virtualization (VMware NSX, OpenStack), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and AI software stacks.
  5. Strong background in cloud networking, distributed storage, and AI hardware acceleration (GPUs, TPUs).
  6. Experience engaging with Tier-1 telcos, cloud service providers, and enterprise AI adopters.
  7. Familiarity with Ansible automation for infrastructure and configuration management.
  8. Familiar with Linux, kernel, shell code script.
  9. Certification in AWS, GCP, Azure, Ansible, Python, Kubernetes or relevant technologies are a bonus.
