Job Title: Director, Software

Location: Zhubei City, Taiwan

Director, Software will lead the local software team to design, develop, test and execute software upgrade and integration for semiconductor equipment. Collaborating with customer and internal teams to determine the scope of software development and testing plan. Provide software support and debugging for customers. Debugging, executing software upgrade plan for our customers. Develop secs gem test script to perform Software Automation testing according to SEMI standards. This position requires hands-on capabilities in software development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming with C#, C++
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Solid understanding of multithreading concepts
• Knowledge of WinForms and WPF
• Software/hardware interface experience.
• PLC programming and testing
• Ladder Logic and motion control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop / deliver software solutions
• Communicate effectively on technical and business topics
• Develop clear requirements for new software requirements and test cases
• Drive key projects and customer engagements through weekly progress meetings
• Experience in semiconductor equipment
• Knowledge of SEMI standards for semiconductor equipment, secs gem messages
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills
• Functional manager experience
• Fluent in English and Mandarin

Requirements & Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 12+ years of experience in software development
• Experience in semiconductor equipment
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
