Job Description

We are partnered with a rapidly growing aviation aftermarket organisation that is investing heavily in the expansion of its international commercial team.

The business supports airlines, MROs, leasing companies and aviation service providers globally through the supply of used serviceable material, aircraft and engine components, inventory support solutions, aircraft and engine leasing, asset management services and broader aftermarket programmes.

Operating across multiple international markets, the organisation has established a significant global customer base and inventory position across major Airbus and Boeing platforms, with particular strength across CFM56, CF6 and other mature engine programmes.

The leadership team is now focused on significantly strengthening its commercial presence across Southeast Asia by appointing an experienced aviation sales professional with established airline and MRO relationships and a proven ability to open new markets and generate aftermarket revenue across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with airlines, MROs, leasing companies and aviation service providers across Southeast Asia

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the aircraft component, engine material and USM aftermarket

• Open new airline and MRO accounts and increase the organisation's market penetration across the region

• Expand existing customer relationships and increase regional revenue

• Build long-term relationships with procurement, materials, supply chain, technical and senior commercial decision-makers

• Sell aircraft components, rotables, engine material, airframe material and broader aftermarket support solutions

• Develop strategic and programmatic customer relationships rather than purely transactional component sales

• Support quotations, commercial negotiations and longer-term customer agreements

• Travel regularly throughout Southeast Asia to meet customers and develop new opportunities

• Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows

• Work closely with internal sales, product line, trading, supply chain, acquisitions and operations teams to support customer requirements

• Contribute directly to the organisation's Southeast Asian growth strategy

Ideal Background

• Aviation aftermarket sales or business development experience

• Experience selling aircraft components, USM, rotable inventory, engine material, airframe material or aftermarket support services

• Established relationships with airlines and MROs across Southeast Asia

• Strong knowledge of major Airbus A320-family and Boeing 737 operators across the region

• Exposure to CFM56, CF6 or other mature commercial engine platforms would be advantageous

• Proven history of opening new airline accounts and generating revenue within emerging or underdeveloped territories

• Strong understanding of the commercial aviation landscape across Southeast Asia

• Ability to build relationships at procurement, materials, supply chain, technical and executive level

• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to operate independently across a large international territory

• Ability to navigate different markets and barriers to entry across the region

• Ability to develop long-term strategic customer programmes rather than operating with a purely transactional brokering approach

• Experience working within a remote, travel-focused international sales position

• Additional Asian language capability would be advantageous but is not essential

Why Consider This Opportunity

• Join a private equity-backed organisation investing aggressively in international growth

• Take ownership of one of the organisation's most strategically important international growth regions

• Opportunity to significantly expand the organisation's commercial footprint across Southeast Asia

• Build airline and MRO relationships in markets where the organisation has significant further growth potential

• Significant visibility and direct engagement with senior commercial leadership

• Access to a substantial aircraft and engine inventory portfolio and established global aftermarket platform

• Join a business with significant aircraft teardown, engine teardown, leasing and MRO capabilities

• Opportunity to make a genuine commercial impact rather than simply manage an established territory

• Highly performance-driven compensation structure with significant upside for individuals who generate value

• Potential to play a major role in the organisation's wider expansion across Asia

This opportunity would suit an experienced aviation sales professional who has strong relationships across the Southeast Asian airline and MRO market and enjoys opening new markets, developing strategic accounts and building long-term revenue within a high-growth aviation aftermarket organisation.
