Summary
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role provides strategic leadership, drives revenue performance, and ensures compliance with brand standards and company policies.
- Develop and implement business strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across all F&B outlets
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
- Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance competitiveness
- Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquet, and room service
- Ensure service excellence and compliance with brand standards
- Monitor quality control, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Manage departmental budgets and cost control measures
- Analyze revenue reports, profitability, and expenses
- Optimize labor cost, food cost, and inventory management
- Handle VIP guests and critical service recovery situations
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery
- Lead, coach, and develop the F&B management team
- Foster a high-performance and service-oriented culture
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing to drive F&B promotions and event
- Collaborate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Finance, and other departments
- Support banquet and event planning to maximize revenue opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of F&B experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record in revenue growth and cost management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
