The Role
As Category Director, you will serve as the CEO of your categoryowning the full P&L and driving strategy, growth, and long-term performance. With Taiwan still in an early stage of development, you'll have a unique opportunity to build and scale a high-impact business from the ground up. You will shape strategy, oversee budgets, define organizational needs, and lead a team to accelerate growth.

Responsibilities
- Set the strategic vision and lead the execution of a comprehensive category strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, finance, instock management, supply chain, and external vendors to drive category performance.
- Champion the customer by building a diverse, high-quality product assortment using data-driven insights and strong supplier relationships.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize sales, maintain competitiveness, and drive profitability.
- Apply strong business judgment and analytical rigor to break down complex challenges, build strategic plans, secure resources, and deliver measurable results.
- Foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and thinking big while coordinating across teams in a fast-changing environment.
- Lead and inspire a team of category managers, analysts, and support staff, providing coaching, development, and performance leadership.
- Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence that drives engagement and organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical capability, business judgment, negotiation skills, and curiositypaired with a passion for delivering a world-class customer experience.
- Proven track record of managing complex businesses end-to-end with full P&L ownership.
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic, long-term partnerships and negotiate win-win agreements.
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution; skilled at simplifying and optimizing complex, large-scale processes.
- Experience building and leading high-performing, diverse teams that achieve exceptional results.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across teams and levels.
- Agile, innovative thinker able to adapt quickly and propose creative solutions in a fast-evolving environment.
- Decisive, action-oriented, and comfortable driving change across sales, operations, product, and other cross-functional teams.
