Director, Logistics

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly driven, strategic, and hands-on Director, Logistics to join our team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers, riders, and partners. As the Director, Logistics, you will take full ownership of end-to-end logistics operations, strategy, and financials (P&L/budget). You will lead complex operational projects, optimize rider fleet management, drive process digitalization, and lead high-performing teams to support further business growth across the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics Strategy & P&L Ownership: Lead local logistics strategy, manage the operational budget/P&L, and execute high-impact projects (ie. delivery service act) to drive unit economics and cost efficiencies.
• Rider Fleet & Operations Management: Oversee, scale, and optimize the rider fleet system, ensuring steady rider supply, strong retention, and a positive rider community.
• Process Digitalization & Operational Excellence: Digitalize and automate logistics workflows to optimize delivery setups, enhance customer experience, and improve daily rider operations.
• Product Rollouts & Data Analytics: Own key operational KPIs and partner with regional teams to execute product rollouts seamlessly with minimal friction for riders.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing logistics team to achieve operational goals.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, STEM, or a related field.
• Experience: 5–15+ years of solid experience in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Consulting within fast-paced e-commerce or tech startup environments.
• Management & Leadership: Proven track record in building, developing, and empowering high-performing teams, with exceptional cross-functional and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical Skills: Highly analytical and data-driven with strong structured problem-solving ability (SQL experience is a plus).
• Personal Attributes: Strategic yet hands-on, highly adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable challenging the status quo in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
