What you will do:
This position is a pivotal senior leadership role within Siemens Taiwan, Buildings. Based on a holistic Full-Lifecycle operations strategy. The Head of Operations will oversee the entire operations organization, spanning: Project Execution (Engineering & Installation), and Service Operations (Preventive Maintenance, SLA Fulfillment, and Digital Services).
The core mission of this role is to drive operational excellence, ensure world-class delivery quality, and accelerate the digital transformation of Siemens building technologies in the Taiwan market. You will lead a multi-disciplinary technical workforce to deliver high-margin, customer-centric, and safety-first (Zero-Harm) operations, enabling critical infrastructures to seamlessly transition into next-generation cloud-based digital platforms.
- Project & Service Lifecycle Management
- Align Project Execution and Service teams under a single, seamless lifecycle model, ensuring maximum solution reliability and seamless transition from projects to long-term service contracts.
- Secure complete ownership of the operations P&L, managing margins, cost center budgets, and operational efficiency across the entire contract lifecycle—from initial estimating through installation to final system delivery and renewals.
- Partner with the finance team to conduct Commercial Monthly Project Controlling (CMPC) to monitor Cost to Complete (CTC), Percentage of Completion (PoC), and overall project and service contract profitability.
- Identify risks from project review and take measures to solve and reduce NCC by regular review.
- Standardize operational workflows according to the company guidelines, adopting modern digital field tools to automate dispatching, scheduling, and service execution records.
- Customer Success & Strategic Leadership
- Cultivate strategic customer relationships, positioning Siemens as a trusted partner in long-term building performance, regulatory compliance, life safety, and corporate decarbonization.
- Champion an uncompromising Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) culture across all construction sites and operational offices, ensuring high compliance for employee and subcontractor field operations.
- Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team, cultivating strong talent pipelines for Project Managers, Service Operations Managers, and Engineers.
- Establish continuous learning paths to support and mentor the team in securing professional certifications in next-generation building automation (BMS), advanced fire safety protocols, IP networking, and SaaS cloud building platforms.
What we are looking for:3. Technical Expertise & Certifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control & Automation, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Professional Experience & Operational Depth
- Minimum of 10 years of successful leadership experience in the building technologies, automation, or MEP engineering sectors.
- At least 5 years must be in a senior role managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams (covering project execution and service operations).
- Demonstrated capability in leading the entire Full-Lifecycle (from estimating, through engineering installation, to ongoing maintenance and service contracts) project lifecycle.
- Solid experience managing over hundred-million NTD operational budgets, with a proven history of safeguarding margins, optimizing service cost structures, and managing SLA delivery.
- Fire Safety & Security Dual Domain Expertise: Deep technical understanding and industry experience in Fire Alarm & Life Safety systems, electronic security (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection), and integrated Building Management Systems (BMS/IoT protocols such as BACnet, Modbus).
- Possession of IPMA (International Project Management Association) Professional Certification, PMP, or equivalent project management credentials is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud SaaS building platforms, remote monitoring software, and IP networking architectures.
