PURPOSE
- Lead a team to perform Group capital and local solvency forecast to drive business and capital management decisions
- Lead a project to enhance the Group capital forecast model for capital management initiatives and decision making.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- Lead a team to perform consolidation of Group capital and local solvency forecast and analysis on the results.
- Present the forecast result to Group Chief Actuary and drive business and capital management decisions
- Communicate with local CFOs / chief actuaries on the requirements on local solvency forecast to ensure business decision drives the forecast result.
- Understand the resources plan in local capital teams during business plan period and discuss with local chief actuaries how to close to gap.
- Provide guidance and review the local solvency forecast from local BUs regularly and understand business implications.
- Lead a project to enhance the Group capital forecast model for business and capital management decisions and present the report to Group CFO and Chief Actuary.
- Perform scenario testing to understand the risk profile and vulnerability of the Group's financial position and present to Group Chief Actuary and CIO to drive business and capital management decisions.
- Prepare relevant materials to Group ALMCO, Risk Committee and Board of Directors and present the materials to Group Chief Actuary.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years insurance experience in actuarial and/or risk management functions
- Fellow / Associate member of an internationally recognised actuarial professional body
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Good understanding of different capital regimes in Asia and their business implications
- Working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules, codes of conduct
- Communication skills
- Leadership skills
