Description & Requirements
The Inbound Logistics team is an integral part of the supply chain. Inbound Logistics is responsible for on time delivery of shipments from Global Finished Goods Vendors to lululemon's Global Distribution Centers that meet or exceed service and cost commitments. Our Inbound Logistics Operations team support focuses internally on Sourcing, Production, Global Trade, Global Distribution, Treasury, Asset Protection as well as closely supporting all other pillars of the Inbound Logistics team. Externally the Inbound Logistics Operation team works closely with our nominated Logistics Service Providers globally. Focusing on booking management, timely hand over of goods from vendors, exception, milestone and claims management. Success is achieved when product is delivered to global distribution centers that meet or exceed our agreed to service level agreements, KPI's and cost commitments.
- Develops, maintains and evolves the inbound operational strategy in collaboration with senior leadership and executes the derived strategic roadmap together with internal and external partners
- Manages and executes to the strategic roadmap by building and strengthening people and processes in logistics operation and works with key internal and external partners with overall goal of driving operational excellence
- Oversees inbound logistics operational performance with focus on the inbound global flow of goods that meet on-time commitments and budget
- Ensures regular standard operating procedures (SOP's) and reviews are established, implemented and maintained
- Responsible for end-to-end inbound logistics operational visibility
- Degree in supply chain management, business or related field
- MBA / masters in supply chain management or logistics filed preferred
- At least 10 to 15 years experience in logistics, supply chain, strategy management or relevant consulting background
- Proven experience in leading project, operations management, optimization and strategy execution
- Must have global end-to-end logistics experience driving change management / continuous improvement
- Analytical proficiency a must / Infor Nexus background preferred
- Must have experience managing global teams and logistics providers
- Must have hands on experience in Asia, be willing to start career in Asia and be open to a future move to North America
