This is a hands-on individual contributor role based in Hong Kong and the work requires expertise in corporate event planning and management. Through strong project management, stakeholder management and event planning experience, you'll play a key role in helping us run our event calendar. While this isn't an event production role, it does require advanced familiarity with event production and operations. The role involves guiding event planning, logistics, on-site resourcing, and live event operations. The ideal candidate will have familiarity and comfort with event technology and be curious about emerging technologies, live talent and other aspects of events.
With a proven ability to deliver the highest standard of work, the Asia Lead orchestrates ideas, resources and people to bring critical event plans to life to help us deliver an amazing portfolio of events.
Position Responsibilities:
Conceptualise, plan, and execute high-calibre events: event plans, logistics and operations (live, hybrid and virtual events)
Develop a strategic vision for each event, aligning it with the company's goals to deliver impactful events by understanding and translating business objectives and priorities into moments for experiences
End-to-End Execution: oversee all aspects of event execution, including budgeting, venue selection, logistics, speaker coordination, security, and post-event analysis
Collaborate with Communications, Content, Event Production and Technology and teams - bringing these workstreams together and articulate a vision for how it holistically comes to life as an experience
Coordinate and lead project team meetings to ensure planning, scheduling, and production timelines and deliverables are met through the event project lifecycles
Build, manage and socialise event rundown documents to relevant partners and stakeholders
Source and manage partnerships with external vendors and ensure that services are delivered in line with the statement of work and budget
Collaborate with Brand colleagues to ensure appropriate branding is represented at all events and incorporated into all experiences
Support the development of event briefing documents for senior executives
Manage and reconcile program budgets
Contribute the global calendar of events to ensure we are delivering meaningful and purposeful experiences for our global colleagues
Required Qualifications:
University education, plus a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in corporate event planning with an incredibly strong portfolio of delivered work in live events
Have strong experience managing global corporate events (either from a corporate or agency perspective)
Advanced expertise in event operations & logistics: you thrive in strategic planning and love to roll-up your sleeves and lead the team when it's time to execute
Observant: you have the ability to pick up cues and connect the dots to anticipate and trouble shoot

Have a high degree of emotional intelligence, be able to adapt quickly to change and a capacity to stay calm under pressure in fast-paced environment

Demonstrated capability to write detailed ev ent briefs

Exhibit initiative as a self-starter - highly motivated, striving for continual improvement in both personal skills and production quality
