Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Data Science to lead our team of data scientists in India. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in data science and will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to support business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business goals
  • Lead a team of data scientists in India to deliver impactful insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve business outcomes
  • Manage the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model building and deployment
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all projects
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our work

Skills and Qualifications

  • 15-20 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team of data scientists
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field
