Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced professional to manage and lead strategic digital transformation initiatives specifically within the Finance function. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, deep understanding of both financial business processes, and knowledge of emerging technologies. This role is crucial for driving organizational change, optimizing operations, and delivering impactful digital solutions that enhance both employee and customer experiences. Success in this position requires a proven track record in comprehensive project management and effective stakeholder collaboration.

  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Collaborate closely with Finance leadership to pinpoint challenges, identify opportunities for digital optimization, and ensure all digital initiatives are fully aligned with the broader business strategy and objectives.
  • Process Innovation & Design: Conduct in-depth analysis of current Finance processes to identify inefficiencies. Design and implement optimized, future-state processes by strategically leveraging digital technologies (e.g., RPA, AI/ML, cloud-based solutions, advanced analytics).
  • Project Leadership & Delivery: Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital transformation projects within Finance, from initial concept to successful implementation and post-launch support. This includes clearly defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and required resources.
  • Technology Assessment: Research, evaluate, and recommend suitable digital technologies and solutions to meet specific business needs, working in partnership with the IT department and external technology vendors.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Cultivate strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Finance, HR, IT, and other relevant departments. Effectively manage expectations, communicate progress, secure crucial buy-in, and manage external vendors and consultants to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Develop and execute robust change management strategies, including comprehensive communication plans and training programs, to ensure the smooth transition and successful adoption of new systems and processes by end-users.
  • Performance & Risk Oversight: Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of deployed digital solutions, ensuring desired business outcomes are achieved. Proactively identify potential risks and challenges associated with transformation projects and develop effective mitigation plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work actively with colleagues within the Digital Transformation Office to share best practices, pool expertise, and maintain consistency across all enterprise transformation efforts.
