PURPOSE:
The Digital Transformation Lead is responsible for leading and enabling business and digital transformation initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, working in close partnership with business leaders and stakeholders across subsidiaries to drive sustainable organizational change and operational improvement.
The role serves as a senior liaison between business stakeholders, regional functions, and ICT technical delivery teams, ensuring that business priorities, transformation objectives, and technology capabilities are aligned and translated into practical, achievable programs and projects. Working within the Regional Business Transformation agenda and Regional AI Strategy, the role converts agreed objectives into structured initiatives that improve operational efficiency, modernize business processes, enhance employee and customer experience, and support long-term business performance.
As a senior transformation professional, the role provides leadership and guidance across the transformation lifecycle, from opportunity identification and business case development through implementation, adoption, and benefits realization. The role applies knowledge of business process analysis, organizational change management, program and project management, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and decision-making to ensure transformation initiatives are business-led, properly governed, and delivered with measurable outcomes.
The role is expected to exercise sound judgement, influence senior stakeholders, support prioritization and investment decisions, and direct ICT technical implementation activities where required to ensure technology delivery supports approved business objectives and operational needs.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of business and digital transformation initiatives across Asia Pacific subsidiaries in alignment with the Regional Business Transformation agenda and Regional AI Strategy.
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities, define desired business outcomes, and establish practical initiatives that improve operational performance, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer or employee experience.
- Translate strategic objectives into structured program, projects, implementation roadmaps, success measures, and adoption plans that can be executed by business, ICT, and partner teams.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and ICT technical delivery teams to ensure requirements, priorities, decisions, and expected outcomes are clearly understood and reflected in solution design and implementation.
- Provide direction and guidance to ICT delivery teams, solution teams, and project resources to ensure technology implementation, digital platforms, automation capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions support approved business transformation objectives.
- Work with ICT architecture, applications, data, AI, infrastructure, and security teams to align technical delivery with business priorities, governance requirements, security standards, and operational readiness.
- Lead business process analysis and redesign activities to support standardization, simplification, automation, and digital enablement across subsidiaries where appropriate.
- Evaluate transformation opportunities, risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts, and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making by business and ICT leadership.
- Facilitate transformation governance discussions, stakeholder reviews, and prioritization forums to support alignment, issue resolution, resource coordination, and decision-making.
- Lead organizational change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication support, readiness assessment, adoption planning, and transition to new ways of working.
- Establish and monitor performance indicators, success measures, and benefits realization plans to confirm that initiatives deliver intended business outcomes and sustainable value.
- Manage transformation risks, dependencies, and implementation issues, ensuring timely escalation and appropriate mitigation actions.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and business-led transformation by encouraging adoption of digital capabilities, process optimization, and practical AI-enabled ways of working.

Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, business transformation, program/project management, business process improvement, or related fields. Experience working across regional or multi-subsidiary environments is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification in project/program management, change management, process improvement, Agile, or digital transformation.
- Business process analysis, process re-design, and operational improvement capability.
- Program and project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, dependency management, and benefits tracking.
- Organizational change management capability, including stakeholder engagement, readiness planning, adoption support, and communication coordination.
- Ability to engage, influence, and support decision-making with senior business and ICT stakeholders.
- Ability to direct and guide technical implementation activities to ensure technology delivery supports business objectives.
- Good understanding of digital platforms, automation, modern workplace capabilities, data, analytics, and practical AI-enabled business solutions.
- Strong analytical decision-making skills with ability to assess business value, risks, operational impact, and implementation feasibility.
