Job Description
We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps & Cloud Lead to support one of our clients, a leading global investment bank. The role will focus on defining and executing the APAC cloud migration strategy while implementing strong DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the APAC CIO office and global cloud teams, to design, deploy, and optimize secure cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with financial industry regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute APAC cloud strategies aligned with global Move-To-Cloud initiatives.
- Lead migration of legacy applications to cloud and hybrid environments.
- Define migration roadmap for workloads to internal cloud solutions.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards.
Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, and vendors.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and security components.
- Deliver cloud infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
DevSecOps Implementation
- Design and implement DevSecOps toolchains.
- Integrate security across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines and security controls.
Operational Support
- Provide operational support for digital and business teams using cloud platforms.
- Enable self-service capabilities for development teams.
Performance & Cost Optimization
- Track engineering performance metrics such as DORA metrics.
- Conduct cost optimization activities including resource rightsizing and automated shutdowns.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all cloud services comply with financial industry regulatory standards.
- Perform regular security and compliance assessments.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Serverless architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP / Private Cloud)
- Container orchestration experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as:
- Jenkins
- GitLab / Bitbucket
- SonarQube
- Jira
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
