What You'll do

You'll focus on three key areas:

• Automate and Optimize: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and streamline infrastructure management across cloud and data center environments.

• Secure and Protect: Integrate security into every layer-from architecture to deployment. You'll perform vulnerability assessments, apply secure configurations, and respond to incidents with confidence.

• Own and Evolve: Take end-to-end responsibility for infrastructure and security solutions. You'll monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve systems to meet evolving needs.

Required Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or cloud engineering.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD principles.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go.

• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, KVM).

• Experience implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments.

Preferred Skills and Experience

These additional skills will help you thrive and grow in the role:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.

• Knowledge of CNCF tools such as Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, or Crossplane.

• Exposure to enterprise security tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Tenable, Fortify, AWS security services).

• Understanding of network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing, and access controls.

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks).

• Security certifications such as CREST, CISSP, CISM, or relevant cloud security credentials.

• Experience with secrets management, API security, and zero-trust architectures.
