Design Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and experienced Design Manager to lead and oversee design development for high-end interior and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing design processes from concept to completion, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional spaces. Experience in 5-star hotel projects or luxury hospitality fit-outs is highly preferred.

Job Description

• Lead the design process from concept development through detailed design and construction stages
• Manage and coordinate with internal design teams,consultants, and external stakeholders
• Review and guide design proposals to ensure alignment withclient vision, brand standards, and project requirements
• Oversee preparation and review of drawings, specifications,and material selections
• Ensure design compliance with local regulations, codes, andproject standards
• Collaborate closely with project management and site teamsto ensure smooth design implementation
• Manage design timelines, deliverables, and budgets
• Resolve design-related issues and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design management or senior design roles
• Experience in 5-star hotel projects or luxury hospitality fit-outs is highly preferred
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end or hospitality projects
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
