About The Role

As a Deputy Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee daily operations at our Robotics Manufacturing facility in Hsinchu. You will play a key role in meeting production targets, driving cost savings, and ensuring the highest quality standards for our Self-Driving Delivery Robots and Self-Driving Car Kits. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, outsourced partners, and suppliers across the region to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations at the Chunan robotics facility.
  • Ensure weekly, monthly, and quarterly production volume and quality targets are achieved.
  • Manage outsourced suppliers for mechanical and electrical parts, monitoring costs, fees, and margin performance.
  • Drive continuous cost-reduction initiatives across labor, BOM, and facilities.
  • Visit and audit vendors and/or new strategic partners across Taiwan, Mainland China, South Korea to ensure alignment with product requirements and Company strategy.
  • Monitor vendor performance and manage quality claim processes.
  • Negotiate with outsourced manufacturing partners on supply chain, logistics, customs, and vendor-related matters.
  • Oversee workforce allocation across both blue- and white-collar employees to meet production needs.
  • Support business trips by coordinating agendas and on-site logistics.

What You Will Need

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Proven project management experience in manufacturing operations (robotics, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial products or related industries preferred).
  • Strong understanding of product cost structures (BOM, labor, materials, overhead, margins).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to travel within Taiwan, Mainland China, South Korea and U.S. as required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicle manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with supplier networks in Taiwan and Mainland China.
  • Exposure to international supply chain and logistics processes.

Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the U.S. The employer is not offering relocation sponsorship, and remote work options are not available.
