Deputy General Manager - Merchandising

Our client is a listed investment company in consumer food products (FMCG Sales).

Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with brand stakeholders to support merchandising and promotion activities
2. Manage a portfolio of snacks, and confectionery brands, including new product sourcing and inventory control
3. Work with vendors and partners to negotiate and manage trading terms
4. Align vendor expectations with sales strategies
5. Oversee the team to ensure effective product and supply chain management (pricing, production, shipments, stock management)
6. Monitor market trends and collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue and profitability

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
2. 10 years or above merchandising experience in FMCG or retail industry
3. Great organization, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
4. Food industry sales and key account management experience will be an advantage
5. China merchandising and sales exposure is a plus
6. Strong analytical mind and able to work under pressure
7. Proficiency in English, Chinese, Mandarin
