Deputy Director, Finance & Accounting

We are seeking a Deputy Director, Accounting & Finance to strengthen site financial operations and support informed business decisions. Combining hands-on accounting and controllership with financial planning and analysis (FP&A), you will build a strong site finance foundation through accurate reporting, effective internal controls, disciplined processes, and meaningful operational analysis.

You will partner with the Regional Controller, site leadership, and Corporate Finance on accounting, financial close, planning, and performance management. As a key backup to the Regional Controller, you may take on broader responsibilities across Asia as business needs evolve.

This position initially operates as an individual contributor. You must be comfortable personally executing detailed accounting and analytical work. Prior management experience is essential to lead initiatives, develop colleagues, and prepare for potential future team leadership.

Location: Hsinchu. This is an on-site position, and we are not open to remote candidates at this time

What you will do

Accounting and controllership

• Perform and oversee journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare accurate financial statements, supporting schedules, and timely Corporate reporting packages.
• Provide hands-on support and oversight across accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, cost accounting, and cash management.
• Support compliance with accounting standards, local statutory and tax requirements, and Corporate policies; strengthen internal controls, support SOX compliance, and coordinate audits and corrective actions.
• Resolve accounting issues with the Regional Controller and Corporate Finance; prepare cash flow forecasts and support working capital, banking activities, and funding requirements.

Financial planning and business analysis

• Lead site budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning in alignment with Corporate requirements.
• Analyze revenue, manufacturing costs, margins, inventory, capital expenditures, and operating performance; explain variances and recommend actions.
• Develop financial models, scenarios, and business cases for capacity planning, resource allocation, and capital investments; translate results into management reports and presentations.
• Partner with site leaders to strengthen financial accountability and connect operational decisions with financial outcomes.

Process improvement and regional leadership

• Assess accounting, reporting, and planning processes; establish consistent procedures, documentation, and calendars, and improve data quality and analytical capabilities.
• Use Oracle and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems to support accounting and planning; partner with Finance and IT on automation, enhancements, integrations, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide backup and delegated coverage for the Regional Controller and support consolidation, reporting, forecasting, and analysis across Asia sites.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority, and coach and mentor finance colleagues.
• Assume broader regional and potential people management responsibilities as business needs evolve, and perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience, including substantial hands-on controllership responsibilities within a multinational organization.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience, with strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and operational financial drivers.
• Demonstrated experience in general ledger accounting, close, financial reporting, internal controls, statutory reporting, and audit coordination.
• Strong FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and business decision support.
• Prior experience managing, coaching, and developing accounting or finance professionals, with the willingness and ability to remain effective in a hands-on individual contributor role.
• Experience supporting multiple entities or sites and collaborating with regional and global finance teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English, including the ability to explain accounting matters, present results, and collaborate with U.S. headquarters and regional leadership.
• Strong accounting judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to establish sound financial processes while balancing detailed execution with broader business analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including influencing cross-functional partners and communicating with senior management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with ERP and financial planning systems.
• A self-directed approach, sound judgment, and strong organization, accuracy, and prioritization skills.

Preferred qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification; MBA or relevant advanced degree.
• Public accounting experience, exposure to financial operations in China, and experience with Oracle and EPM.

Travel: Occasional travel may be required to support site and regional business needs.

工作內容

會計與財務控制

• 執行並管理傳票作業、帳戶調節、總帳維護,以及月結、季結與年結作業;編製正確的財務報表、相關明細及符合時程要求的總部財務報告。
• 實際參與並監督應付帳款(AP)、應收帳款(AR)、存貨、固定資產、成本會計及資金管理等財務作業。
• 確保會計處理符合適用會計準則、台灣當地法定申報與稅務要求,以及公司政策;持續強化內部控制、支援 SOX 法遵,並協調內外部稽核及後續改善事項。
• 與 Regional Controller 及 Corporate Finance 共同處理重大或複雜會計議題;編製現金流預測,並支援營運資金管理、銀行往來及資金需求規劃。

財務規劃與營運分析

• 主導廠區年度預算、滾動式預測(Rolling Forecast)及中長期財務規劃,確保與總部財務要求一致。
• 分析營收、製造成本、毛利、存貨、資本支出及整體營運績效,說明實際與預算/預測差異,並提出具體改善建議。
• 建立財務模型、情境分析及投資效益評估,支援產能規劃、資源配置及資本投資決策;將分析結果整理為管理報表及簡報。
• 與廠區各部門主管合作,提升財務管理責任意識,並協助將營運決策與財務結果有效連結。

流程改善與區域財務支援

• 檢視會計、財務報告及預算規劃流程,建立一致的作業程序、文件與時程管理機制,並持續提升資料品質及財務分析能力。
• 運用 Oracle ERP 及 Enterprise Performance Management(EPM)系統支援會計與財務規劃作業;與 Finance 及 IT 團隊合作推動流程自動化、系統優化、系統整合及使用者驗收測試(UAT)。
• 擔任 Regional Controller 的代理及支援角色,協助亞洲各廠區的合併報表、財務報告、預測及分析工作。
• 主導跨部門專案,在無直接管理權限的情況下有效協調並影響利害關係人,同時提供財務同仁指導、培訓及職涯發展支持。
• 隨業務需求發展,承擔更多區域財務管理及潛在人員管理責任,並執行其他相關工作。

任職資格

• 會計、財務或相關科系學士以上學歷。
• 具 10 年以上逐步承擔更高責任的會計及財務工作經驗,且曾於跨國企業中負責具一定廣度與深度的財務控制及會計管理工作。
• 至少 3 年製造業經驗,並熟悉成本會計、存貨管理及製造營運相關財務指標。
• 具備總帳會計、月/季/年結、財務報告、內部控制、法定財務申報及稽核協調等實務經驗。
• 具扎實的 FP&A 經驗,包括預算編製、財務預測、財務模型、差異分析及營運決策支援。
• 曾實際管理、指導及培育會計或財務專業人員,同時願意並能夠在 Individual Contributor 的職位架構下持續親自投入執行工作。
• 具多公司/多廠區財務支援經驗,並曾與區域及全球財務團隊合作。
• 優秀的英文書寫與口語溝通能力,能以英文說明會計與財務議題、進行成果簡報,並與美國總部及區域管理團隊有效合作。
• 具良好的會計判斷力、分析能力與問題解決能力,能在執行細部作業的同時,建立健全的財務流程並提供更高層次的營運分析。
• 優秀的人際溝通及領導能力,能有效影響跨部門合作夥伴,並與高階管理階層溝通。
• 熟練 Microsoft Excel,並具 ERP 與財務規劃系統使用經驗。
• 具高度自主性、良好判斷力,以及優秀的組織、細節管理、準確度及工作優先順序管理能力。

加分條件

• 具 CPA、會計師或其他同等專業會計資格;具 MBA 或相關碩士以上學位尤佳。
• 具會計師事務所經驗、中國地區財務營運相關經驗,以及 Oracle ERP 與 EPM 系統實務經驗。

出差需求:

依廠區及區域業務需求,偶爾需配合國內外出差。
