Overview:
The Deputy Counseling Coordinator assists the Counseling Coordinator in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth client service processes, supporting administrative tasks, and serving as a backup point of contact when needed. The ideal candidate is mission-driven and demonstrates a strong passion for nonprofit (NGO) work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Counseling Coordinator with client scheduling, intake, and service coordination
- Maintain accurate client records and departmental documentation
- Coordinate communication between counselors and the Operations Team
- Assist in counseling performance analysis and drive continuous improvement efforts
- Support administrative and operational tasks for the department
- Serve as backup in the coordinator's absence
- Support cross-departmental initiatives as needed to ensure smooth service delivery
- Help manage department programs, workshops, and events
- Support business outreach and the development of business initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
- Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills
- Experience in administrative or coordination roles preferred
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- English and/or Mandarin proficiency must.
