Job Summary
The role is primarily responsible for handling all aspects of the warehouse management system and assisting Distribution Centres (DCs) to support chain operations. Focus is on ensuring orders are created, received, picked, and delivered accurately, alongside supporting the merchandising team with assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Warehouse Management System to align stock records accurately with the ERP system for inventory integrity
- Enforce compliance with operational and logistics processes monthly, quarterly, and yearly to ensure timely and precise execution
- Implement and maintain processes to prevent stock loss, conduct accurate stock counts, and investigate discrepancies thoroughly
- Monitor daily order drop-offs, create purchase orders for vendors, and manage Return to Vendor (RTV) processes efficiently
- Develop and apply stock management tools and processes across platforms to improve productivity and operational efficiency
- Lead the operations administrative support team to assist admin and warehouse operations teams in meeting objectives and resolving daily challenges aligned with corporate competencies
- Serve as the key user and liaison for warehouse management, ordering, and ERP systems by coordinating with IT, procurement, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations
- Address ad-hoc operational issues promptly and effectively to maintain workflow continuity
- Perform other assigned tasks to support overall warehouse and merchandising functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or related fields
- Relevant warehouse or logistics certifications are advantageous
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics, inventory control, or related roles
- Experience supporting or supervising warehouse operations is preferred
- Experience in fast-paced warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environments is advantageous
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse and inventory processes
- Experience using WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting
- Excellent documentation and data-entry skills
- Understanding of stock control, receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch processes
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and stock take procedures
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
- Familiarity with barcode/RFID systems is an advantage
