We are seeking an experienced DB&T Manager for our subsidiary, Onyx Ta-Ho. This role leads the digital transformation, digital governance, data & AI strategy, and cybersecurity policy of Onyx Ta-Ho. The role ensures that Onyx Ta-Ho is aligned with the digital standards of its two shareholders (Veolia and TCC) while accelerating operational performance through the deployment of data-driven, AI-enabled, and platform-based solutions. This role reports to Onyx Ta-Ho's General Manager and functionally to the Veolia Taiwan DB&T Director.
Key Responsibilities
Alignment with Group Digital Standards and Governance
- Ensure full compliance with the Group digital policies, architecture principles and cybersecurity requirements of Onyx Ta-Ho's shareholders.
- Act as primary digital interface between Onyx Ta-Ho's leadership and the DB&T organization of Onyx Ta-Ho's shareholders.
- Participate actively in shareholders digital governance bodies.
Digital AI Driven Solutions
- Lead deployment and industrialization of digital AI driven solutions (such as Talk To My Plant) across all Onyx Ta-Ho's plants.
- Drive operational use case identification and value realization through a dedicated tracker.
Operational Digital Solutions & Value Delivery
- Define and execute Onyx Ta-Ho's digital roadmap. Highlight organisation change and resources needed to deliver the roadmap.
- Deploy and scale solutions including but not limited to: Hubgrade (a digital real-time monitoring solution for performance control and optimization), AI computer vision for safety and operational monitoring, and mobile tools for field operations and compliance.
- Ensure all initiatives have clear business/operational objectives and trackers are in place to assess their contribution to the company's financial performance.
Data, Architecture & Integration
- Implement data governance practices ensuring single source of truth.
- Align local architecture with Group integration and data platform standards.
- Promote API-based integration and system interoperability.
- Reduce shadow IT through rationalization and standardization.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Ensure Onyx Ta-Ho's IT environment complies with: Client contractual requirements, Local regulatory constraints, and Veolia and TCC cybersecurity standards.
- Coordinate DRP readiness, vulnerability management and awareness programs.
IT Service Delivery & Vendor Management
- Oversee local IT operations and coordinate with Veolia's shared services.
- Manage external partners and system integrators.
- Ensure service reliability, cost control and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to digital investment planning and financial discipline.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of experience in IT / Digital / Data leadership roles, with a proven track record as a leader of major digital transformation programs or enterprise-level strategist.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, utilities, environmental services or asset-heavy industries is strongly preferred.
- Experience in matrix / joint-venture environment is a strong plus.
