Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with AI expertise and 6+ years of experience to join the Digital Solutions team. The role will drive business value through advanced analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data-driven decision support across enterprise processes.
- The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, software developers, and digital transformation teams to identify opportunities, design AI-powered solutions, and deploy scalable models into production. The role requires a strong blend of hands-on data science, Generative AI, cloud technology, stakeholder engagement, and practical delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
- AI & Machine Learning DevelopmentDesign, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI solutions to address complex business challenges.
- Build predictive, prescriptive, and classification models using structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and optimize Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based applications, RAG architectures, AI assistants, and intelligent automation workflows.
- Evaluate, monitor, and continuously improve model performance and accuracy.
Data Science & Analytics
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
- Develop statistical models and advanced analytical solutions to support strategic decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and measurable outcomes.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports that communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data Engineering & Solution Delivery
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to establish scalable data pipelines and AI-ready data platforms.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are maintained across analytical solutions.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI and machine learning models.
Digital Innovation & Automation
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve productivity and business performance.
- Drive innovation initiatives utilizing emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, Computer Vision, NLP, and Intelligent Automation.
- Contribute to enterprise AI strategy, standards, and best practices.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges and opportunities.
- Present findings, recommendations, and AI roadmaps to leadership teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior data scientists and analysts.
- Collaborate with global teams and external partners to deliver data-driven solutions.
Critical Competencies for Success
Technical Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, and modern data science libraries.
- Strong experience with machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modelling.
- Hands-on expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG frameworks, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform, AWS and Google Cloud would be added advantage.
- Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and automation frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Advanced Analytics.
- Experience with Microsoft AI ecosystem (Azure AI Services, Azure Open AI, Fabric, Synapse, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions from concept to production.
