Data Governance & Reporting Automation Consultant (Banking)
My client is a leading consulting firm in Asia supporting top-tier enterprise institutions on large-scale data and regulatory transformation initiatives. They are currently looking for a Data Governance & Reporting Automation Consultant to join a major enterprise program.
What You'll Do
- Drive data governance initiatives including KDE identification, data lineage, EUC inventory, and process mapping
- Lead automation of regulatory reporting processes using Alteryx and related tools
- Replace manual Excel/Access workflows with scalable, system-driven solutions
- Redesign reporting processes in line with BCBS239 principles
- Partner with Finance, Risk, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Facilitate workshops and support stakeholder adoption
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder reporting
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in banking / financial services / consulting, with at least 3+ years in Management Consulting
- Strong background in data governance, regulatory reporting, or data management
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx (automation, workflow design) is highly preferred
- Good understanding of finance/risk reporting and BCBS239
- Experience working across business & IT stakeholders
- Strong communication, documentation, and project management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with data lineage tools (e.g., Collibra)
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Background in process improvement / BPR initiatives
