Data Center Field Application Engineer

This FAE position job should also good well in power system integration. System platform integration and application is the key point to be solution proposal to drive to support sales in customers projects. Support sales in data center, power system, integration solutions are the fundamental job to provide solution proposal to gain the marketing share.

This position will be responsible for effectively supporting the sales activities of the sales team to achieve sales revenue goals, in addition to provide professional technical responses for Eaton Power Quality & Power Distribution solutions.

Responsibilities:

A. Responsible for pre-sales technical support & expertise in implementation of customer applications associated with UPS system, power distribution system, cooling, DCIM & EPMS system.

B. Efforts include preparation, participation and/or presentation of seminars to customers and consultants

C. Providing solution and prepare bidding documents

D. Examines customer requirements in terms of equipment and documentation

E. Provides technical review of orders

F. Recommends most cost effective configuration to meet technical requirements

G. Support sales staff in assessing potential applications of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications

H. Effectively interface with customers, sales staff, consultants and contractors to support requirements

I. Engineering cost analysis and project management

J. Familiar with current trend and technology developments of competitions

K. To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:

a. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking

b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS

c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements

d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 5 years pre-sales and support experience on data centre or integration solutions application

Requires practical experience in design and solutioning

The application knowledge of power quality and distribution system in data center

Familiar with Electrical installation methods, practices, and the National Electrical Code

Familiar with Power switchgear and distribution manufacture techniques

Knowledge of precision cooling and its application

Experience of engineering and project management

Technical interpretation, communication skills and CAD skill are important

Must be able to make technical proposal presentations to customers and consulting engineers

Must have good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English

Knowledge of Auto-CAD and BIM modelling
