Job Description

  • Define thermal, cooling capacity, redundancy, reliability, and serviceability requirements for high-density AI server and rack platforms.
  • Lead thermal and hydraulic reviews across facility water systems, CDUs, manifolds, cold plates, and server-level liquid cooling architectures.
  • Establish interface requirements between facility infrastructure, cooling systems, servers, telemetry, monitoring platforms, and control systems.
  • Develop commissioning plans, acceptance criteria, and testing procedures covering flushing, leak detection, pressure validation, flow balancing, water quality, and thermal load verification.
  • Partner with server OEMs, ODMs, and liquid-cooling vendors to validate thermal performance, redundancy strategies, alarm responses, and failure modes.
  • Drive issue resolution, root-cause investigations, qualification testing, and deployment readiness assessments.
  • Support customer deployments and ensure cooling systems meet operational and performance requirements before production rollout.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in thermal engineering, liquid cooling, mechanical systems, commissioning, or mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in direct-to-chip cooling technologies for AI, HPC, or data centre applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cold plates, CDUs, rack manifolds, quick disconnects, leak detection systems, and liquid cooling loops.
  • Proven experience reviewing facility-to-rack hydraulic designs, cooling performance, water quality requirements, and material compatibility.
  • Experience leading integrated validation and commissioning activities with server manufacturers, ODMs, and cooling solution providers.
  • Strong understanding of AI server platforms, thermal management, and high-density data centre environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
