Data Analyst

Job Summary

A position is required to support the Consumer Banking and Wealth Management Unit Data Office in Data & AI risk governance and Data Quality management.

Job Requirement:

1 The candidate should have 1-3 years experience in Banking or Financial Services, preferably in a Data Management, Data Analyst or Data Engineer role.

2 Working experience in Financial Services or Management Consulting, or strong exposure to Banking

3 Good understanding of Financial Products & Processes and the data models for these

4 Proficiency in SQL is a pre-requisite

5 Attention to detail with the capacity for diligent follow-through

6 Knowledge of Data Management frameworks like DAMA, DCAM will be an advantage

7 Experience with data technologies & languages such as Hadoop, Cloudera Data Platform, Python, PySpark, Superset, Teradata would be a plus

Tasks include:

1 Assist in both periodic & ad-hoc Data Quality profiling and dashboarding;

2 Review and approve business metadata data;

3 Assist in thematic reviews focused on Data & AI risk;

4 Conduct data analysis for purpose of surfacing data inconsistencies, and reviewing of data completeness, intended uses and purposes;

5 Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
