Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) to operate and manage enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions, including Azure cloud services, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and Microsoft Intune for device management. The SME will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable IT operations across the organization.
Operations & Support:
- Provide operational support for endpoint and mobility issues as a Subject Matter Expert
- Strong in troubleshooting device enrollment, policy conflicts, patch failures, and application deployment issues
- Deploy and configure MECM for OS deployment, patch management, and application distribution
- Manage Intune for mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), and compliance policies.
- Integrate Azure AD with on-premises Active Directory for identity and access management.
Security & Compliance
- Implement conditional access, endpoint security baselines, and compliance policies.
- Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory security standards.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 3 support for Microsoft solutions
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Azure, MECM, and Intune environments
Collaboration & Training
- Work with business stakeholders and vendors to deliver solutions
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for administrators and end-users
- Conduct testing of devices to ensure feasibility and compatability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, MECM (SCCM), and Intune/MDM.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management certification
